Why Choose Us

“It isn't what we don't know that gives us trouble, it's what we know that ain't so.”

-- Will Rogers, American entertainer (1879-1935)

Whether you are seeking an immediate solution to your judicial problems or exploring counselor advice to your legal issues, you should take care to choose a well rounded law firm who understands and respects your specific needs and goals. It has been our experience that the quality of the professional relationship between the attorney and client is be a very important element in achieving a successful resolution to your legal matter.

1. Know exactly where your legal matter is standing.

We (i) listen to your concerns, (ii) outline the issues with you, (iii) formulate direction and optimum strategies for your situation after considering all the relevant facts and applicable law to your case, (iv) prioritize and execute the strategies, (v) work together with an everyone-can-win attitude, and (vi) keep you informed until the conclusion of your case. We don’t win every case. We don’t close every deal. However, we commit to give the proper attention that your business matter deserves. As a result, we deliver timely and accurate legal advice, draft results oriented legal documents and correspondence, negotiate zealously with other parties on your behalf, file cases with governmental authorities on behalf of hundreds of businesses and individuals on a constant basis and we can do the same for you.

2. Know what your legal costs will be.

Our legal services are provided for an affordable and in most cases fixed fee that you will actually be happy to pay and you know upfront what your costs will be during your appointment, when we decide to represent you. What’s more our average small business client pays 20% to 40% less for all their legal services, not the high hourly fees that other big legal firms might charge. For example, unlike most legal firms, we do not even charge for faxing per page, photocopying per page, telephone and ordinary mail. We regularly tell you in advance, to the best of our knowledge, what the court costs, filing charges, government or administrative fees or other third party expenses such as medical exams, translations, certifications or evaluation charges will be.

3. You shouldn’t have to see a new staff person each year.

When you become a client of ours, you will be assigned to a lawyer and a paralegal and they will probably stay on your account, their practice area permitting, as long as you utilize our firm. Helping a new lawyer or paralegal to get to know you and your business is a lot of work and we make every effort to see you do it only once. In most cases we return your telephone calls or e-mails by the next business day, as well as maintain a certain number of hours every week for those last minute appointments.

4. Don’t pay for an extra 15 or 20 minutes phone call.

As part of our flat fee structure, you receive unlimited consultation on your basic legal matter over the telephone, via fax or e-mail if the amount of time we spend on your case does not exceed 15 minutes in one session and is not being used in an abusive manner. We do charge extra for evening and weekend appointments in our office, out of office visits of extraordinary nature, large or special projects, but we will tell you of that in advance and give you an estimate of the cost.

5. We do what we know, we love what we do and we believe in it.

How do we do it? Well, that is easy. We focus our efforts on a few strategic areas that we know the best, feel energized, connected and stimulated instead of trying to be all things to all people. This allows us to build long term client relationships based on flexibility, responsiveness and continuity.

6. Experience is more important than pure knowledge.

We offer our clients modern and time-tested legal expertise for today’s global business environment. The great experience generated during more than 30 years has helped us to develop legal, ethical and humanly possible solutions with a curious and sensible attitude towards new thinking in both internal and client processes. Over the years, we have established relationships with leading law firms, financial institutions and other professional organizations worldwide to enhance the legal services we provide you. Our ability to do business in several languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Arabic, Turkish, Hebrew, Persian, Urdu, Chinese and Korean is just another benefit we offer our clients.

7. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.

We know your time and money is valuable. You want it done fast, easy, inexpensive and at once. We keep pace with rapidly changing laws and your expectations. We invest our resources in finding and hiring top notch team members, educating ourselves with the new laws that may affect your business, networking with our clients, competitors and other relevant parties, utilizing state of the art office technology for document creation, case management, communication and coordination. This permits us to successfully manage your case work to your satisfaction.

8. You don’t want to talk about “Res ipsa” and “Lis pendens”, federal laws, state regulations, municipal ordinances and SEC XXX (B)(i)(c).

We speak ordinary English. Sure, we know all of those legal terms, but our job is to make sure you know how to make money and resolve your legal matters while avoiding expensive litigation and keeping expenses in control, and we pride ourselves in being able to clearly communicate our ideas to you.

9. You deserve to be treated like a first priority client.

All of our clients are business owners or high net worth individuals, ranging in size from start-ups to $100,000,000 in annual sales or assets. We can’t afford to treat the client as anything but a first class client, because they are the only clients we have.

10. Get the best possible answers to your small business questions.

We have been working with hundreds of businesses in dozens of industries and have been answering their business related questions for over twenty years. Chances are, we will have heard and answered any small business question you have, many times before. Hopefully we will have not only an answer, but the answer that has proved to be most profitable to our clients in past.
